Cocoa

Many studies suggest that cocoa can help prevent the risk of several life-threatening diseases.

In fact, a new research, published in Frontiers in Nutrition, provides a strong argument for enjoying cocoa and chocolate, and as much as possible, to benefit from its impact on reducing the risk of infection with three major cases, in particular.

Who invented chocolate?

Cocoa is known to be rich in a particular type of vegetable vegetation, called polyphenol, which studies confirm its ability to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, while improving the cognitive function.

According to the World Health Organization, dementia, heart disease and stroke are a major cause of death, which poses a major threat to longevity.

Fortunately, cocoa is one of the major foods that can help prevent these fatal health conditions.

Heart disease and stroke

Hypertension is one of the main factors of each of these cardiovascular diseases.

And hypertension, it means your heart must work harder to pump blood around the body, increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke over time.

This is where the role of cocoa and polyphenols comes in rescue, through its ability to reduce blood pressure and improve atherosclerosis.

These effects echo in many studies, including a publication in Frontiers in Nutrition, which revealed the ability of cocoa to reduce blood pressure for eight hours during trials.

Some kind of chocolate can lower blood sugar levels in minutes!

Moreover, this research suggested that cocoa might be effective like some blood pressure drugs.

The Panel explained that with further research, cocoa could be used in clinical practice and could help avoid major situations.

Dementia

A study published in Cellular Biochemistry in the effects of cocoa extract on a lab model of Alzheimer's disease, called Vitro.

The Vitro model isolates cells and microorganisms from their natural environment, allowing researchers to take a insight into their behavior.

The Panel found that the polyphenol in cocoa produced neurophydrated preventive effects, suggesting that treatment can help maintain or even improve good brain health.

However, there is currently a need for research that focuses directly on whether cocoa can help prevent the state of theft of the mind.

Based on these different studies, cocoa polyphenol may be able to enhance longevity by protecting from three common cases.
